Tauntaun

Tauntauns are a species of snow lizard found roaming the windswept snow plains of Hoth. The Rebel Alliance domesticated some of the swift creatures during their stay on the ice planet and used them for patrol duties outside Echo Base.

The animals came in useful as the Rebel technicians had difficulty adapting their repulsorlift speeders to the subzero temperatures. Though tauntauns are sure-footed and well equipped to handle Hoth’s daytime temperature, the chilling extremes of a Hoth night are deadly.

We bring you a fullscale replica of an animatronic Tauntaun (head, arms and body movement) completely with sounds and a unique opportunity for visitors to have their picture taken while standing in front of the tauntaun. It would take too long to let every visitor sit on the tauntaun’s back but for celebrities or vips exceptions can be provided.

A Hoth backdrop of 8,44m by 3,7m is also available. (27.56 ft x 12.14 ft).
